Biography

BMC aka Biarejtiajeselejvi is a rapper, a member of the cult group Ding Dong and the Feedback Respect family, and one of the co-founders of Budjenje. He has been part of the rap scene since the early 1990s, placing him among the first generation of the Serbian hip-hop scene.

As a member of Ding Dong, he has three studio albums behind him, as well as numerous guest appearances and collaborations with other artists. Throughout his decades on the scene, BMC has remained true to the old-school hip-hop style and culture from which he emerged.

He later became part of the Feedback Respect family with South Side and Zmaj, sharing not only musical collaboration but also the idea of bringing together and connecting different generations of the hip-hop scene.

BMC has also been one of Budjenje’s co-founders from the beginning. The project started in 2008 by organizing rap shows and grew into the television program “Buđenje” in 2010, airing for two seasons on Niš regional television station RTV5.

His role, however, goes beyond his discography and formal involvement in the project. As a representative of the generation that lived rap culture in the early 1990s, BMC’s approach to music and hip-hop had a major influence on South Side and Zmaj, as well as on the philosophy from which Budjenje would later emerge.

Today, he is part of the relaunched Budjenje, which has lived as a YouTube format since 2026 and continues to document Serbian and regional hip-hop culture.

BMC is, in the truest sense, the O.G. and old-school head of Budjenje — someone who was part of hip-hop long before Budjenje got its name.
