Biography
Ekos One, also known as EŠKO, is a graffiti and street artist from Niš. His murals and public works connect color, form and concept with the space in which they are created.
Through work on walls, he explores the city’s identity, the relationship between art and community and how a visual intervention can change the experience of an urban environment. For him, graffiti is both personal expression and a culture with its own rules and history.
On Budjenje, he discussed his artistic journey, inspiration, mural techniques, relationship with the law and changes in the Serbian graffiti scene.
