Biography
Aleksa, known as KZA, is a rapper and songwriter from Kruševac. His musical journey includes years in rap, solo songs and work with the crew audiences came to know through Apolo. Earlier releases include “Samo Naše” from 2018. On Buđenje, he talks about his long-standing friendship with Faberge and how meeting each other and sharing everyday life developed into an ongoing musical collaboration. The crew later continued working through Bassivity while retaining their collaborators and approach.
His debut studio album “DŽUNGLA” was released on May 16, 2025. It contains 11 tracks, including “RA RA RA”, “ČARAPANI”, “PACIFIK”, “DŽUNGLA” and “Ruže”. Faberge features on “GTA 6” and “OMERTA”, Venok and Arafat on “BOC BOC”, and Vekac and Vitić on “POBEDE”. “DŽUNGLA” brings together his solo material and collaborations with artists he regularly works with. His collaboration with Faberge continues on “Crni sneg”, through tracks such as “Sam protiv svih”, “Ralph Lauren” and “Sve za novac”.
In Buđenje #16, KZA and Faberge give their first interview, exclusively on the show. The conversation was recorded during their visit to Niš with Venok, Vitić and their crew for the promotion of Faberge’s album “Crni sneg”. KZA describes studio work as a process where an idea may begin with a few lines and develop through freestyle and contributions from other crew members. He also talks about “DŽUNGLA”, production, autotune, live shows, audiences and the songs that best represent him.
