Marko Šelić – Marčelo is a rapper, writer and columnist who has held a special place on the Serbian cultural scene for more than two decades. His work connects hip-hop, literature, social criticism and a carefully developed relationship with language.
From the albums “De Facto”, “Puzzle Shock!” and “Treća strana medalje” to the “Napet Šou” concept, Marčelo constantly changes form while keeping his focus on storytelling, characters and questions about the society we live in. Alongside music, he publishes novels, collections and columns.
On Budjenje, he discussed the creative process, the relationship between text and reality, the superficiality of modern life and the way artistic work meets social engagement.
