Phile is a rapper from the Serbian hip-hop scene known for his authentic voice, lyrics from a personal perspective and interest in the entire song-making process.
His view of hip-hop does not end at the microphone: the beat, arrangement, recording and people whose work often happens behind the scenes all play an important role.
On Budjenje, he discussed his musical journey, inspiration and the state of the Serbian rap scene, with particular attention to producers as the “rulers from the shadows” who shape the sound of artists and songs.
